Description of Above Treatments

*Sacred Stone Massage: Massage with heated & oiled basalt stones, integrated in the massage session. The stones lend a healing, therapeutic and grounding earth-energy effect to the massage in a truly awesome manner. The heat penetrates into the muscles and bones, leaving the recipient significantly relaxed and transformed.

*Revitalizing Facial: Application of steamy towels, cleanser, exfoliation & nourishing paraben-free mask, followed by toner and delightful Moisturizer to rejuvenate the skin, leaving the client refreshed and renewed. ½ hr / 1 & 1½ hr with massage.

*Radiant Body Polish: Total body exfoliation with invigorating dead sea mineral salts,sunflower oil, walnut shells, aloe vera, & oils of cypress, sage, cedarwood, thyme, lavender, and peppermint. This treatment includes a Mini-Facial & a luxurious Scalp & Hair Treatment. Exfoliation purifies the skin & increases circulation. The skin is left baby soft & glowing! ½ hr.

*Herbal Steam Therapy: -Better than 'Wraps'! A steam canopy, the "Steamy Wonder!" covers the client on the table. Herbal steam circulates throughout the tent bringing such hydrotherapeutic benefits as increased circulation, improved nutrition of skin, detoxification, increased lymphatic drainage, increased production of white blood cells (a boost of the immune system) & increased suppleness of muscles. Use of the Steamy Wonder follows the East Indian tradition of keeping the head cool and maintaining a prone or supine position during sauna therapy so as to diminish stress of the heart. A deep sense of relaxation of body and mind are created throughout the session, as the therapist provides luxurious scalp & hair treatment along with a Mini-Facial. -Better than 'Wraps'!

Total Body Rejuvenation: Includes 2 treatments: first ½ hr. Herbal Steam Therapy under the famous "Steamy Wonder!" canopy-covered massage table. The therapist provides a relaxing scalp massage during this stage of "purification", along with a Mini-Facial. The Radiant Body Polish, a total body exfoliation, follows, & includes the Soothing Scalp & Hair Treatment. The final step is a warm shower,leaving the client glowing and totally refreshed! 1 hr.

*Luxury Lavender Hand & Foot Treatment: Luxury Lavender Hand & Foot Treatment: The hands are lotioned & dipped in wax and then "mittened". The feet then luxuriate in an Aromatherapy-Mineral Bath containing such essential oils as Lavender, Patchouli, Cypress, Geranium, and Chamomile, while the therapist proceeds with a divine scalp treatment using the famous "Tingler", an instrument which stimulates so sweetly the acu-points and nerve endings of the scalp. Traditional scalp massage is included. An exfoliation follows with Dead Sea Mineral Salts which further draws out impurities, stimulate circulation & soften the skin. The feet are then lotioned and dipped. When the client lies on the massage table, the therapist can then peel the wax from the hands. (It comes off like a glove!) Massage to hands and arms follows. The feet are then addressed with a deeply relaxing reflexology massage. Waxing provides intensive moisture therapy, this nourishing the skin. The heated treatment soothes joints, relaxes muscles, and relieves arthritic pain. The skin is left wonderfully soft and smooth. ½ hr.

*Aromatherapy-Mineral Bliss Bath: Luxurious private swirling jet bath with a blend of ocean and desert salts, scented with the pure Essential Oils of Lavender, Patchouli, Cypress, Geranium, and Roman Chamomile ...so soothing to the skin and balancing to mind, body, spirit. A warm, aroma-sesame rub down, follows. ½ hr.

*Sage Waters Serenity: 1 hour of serene energy work drawing from modalities such as Polarity, Reiki, Healing Touch, Chakra work, Acupressure, Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Massage, and Reflexology. Tuning Forks are applied to acu-points and energy centers. The client is cradled with heated basalt stones to warm the bones and soothe the soul. This truly healing session clears the energy field & promotes deep, inner peace. It raises the client’s vibrations and leaves him/her ready to re-enter life with new vision.

Stimulating Scalp and Hair Treatment: Scalp massage and hair conditioning with locally made Yerba product of Taos Herb Company, containing Yerba de la Negrita, oils of orange, rosewood, rose, ginger, violet leaf, grapefruit, black current, cucumber, eucalyptus, and pine. The head is then wrapped in a steamy towel, leaving the client in Bliss! This treatment can be combined with certain spa sessions.

Foot & Leg Massage: Extra attention given to the feet, including some work on the legs! Oh, so relaxing!

*Aromatherapy: Aromatic liquids distilled from shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, & seeds. Combined with massage oils to enhance the therapeutic effect.

*Tuning Forks: Metal two-pronged forks which are struck on a solid base in order to render a vibration. The vibrating fork is then applied to the body, thus sending "sound therapy" throughout the system. The resonance of the sound opens blocked energy and balances the nervous system, bringing deep relaxation. 

Tingler: 10-pronged instrument designed to stimulate the acu-points and nerve endings of the scalp. A "simply-divine" treatment. Tinglers are available for purchase by clients.

Polarity Therapy:  Gentle holistic system  which assists the balancing of energy currents of the body-mind-spirit; developed by Dr. Randolf Stone. Polarity addresses the ether, air, fire, water & earth elements taught in Ayurvedic medicine.

Reiki:  Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. Reiki channels healing life force to areas which need attention.

Healing Touch: Gentle energetic approach which balances the chakras (energy centers) and bio-field.

Chakra work: Energizing and balancing of the energy centers; there are 7 major chakras along the midline, or, spine with minor chakras located in the joints & other areas of the body.

Acupressure: Ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine technique involving the pressure of the fingers, hand, or elbow to acupoints (acupressure points) on the body.

Jin Shin Do Acupressure: System of addressing specific acupressure points to release chronic tension and "armoring" of the body; developed by Iona Teegarden.

Jin Shin Jyutsu: A system of addressing the release of energy blocks in major energy pathways of the body, including the 12 organ systems, thus affecting the health of the emotional, mental, physical & spiritual bodies.

Reflexology: Application of pressure to the feet & hands addressing zones or reflex areas that reflect the conditions of organs and glands.
